A 2012 Smart Fortwo LE once owned by James Bond actor, Sir Roger Moore, was up for sale at InterClassics with Moonraker actress, Diane Thierry-Mieg, on the stand meeting fans and helping to help find a buyer for it.
The Fortwo – which was being offered at €39,007 – was Moore’s last personal car during his final years living in Monaco, with the odometer showing a lowly 3040km. The seven-time Bond actor was remembered for saying during his ownership: ‘The bigger the star, the smaller the car’.
Diane Thierry-Mieg, who filmed with Moore on set in Paris, said: ‘We couldn’t talk to Roger during filming because his wife was there but Richard Kiel, who played Jaws, was the kindest, loveliest man you could meet.’
The car is still available for sale – interested parties are asked to email the vendor directly.
