Anglia Car Auctions (ACA) is selling a rare 1975 Citroën GSX in its 22-23 June sale. An ACA spokesperson told Classic Car Weekly: ‘This is reputedly the only Citroën GSX model left on UK roads. The vendor describes it as “an exceptionally solid example and very clean and tidy throughout”.
‘The history file includes more than £4000 of bills and an insurance valuation of £8000 dated back in August 2020’.
Reported as driving ‘very well’, the Sunflower Yellow GSX was first registered in February 1975 and still wears its original Cibié front driving lights. The odometer currently reads 37,342 miles and its last MoT expired in December 2020.
It comes with paperwork including the V5C, owner's handbook (all be it in French), service book, brochure, adverts, invoices and old MoT certificates. There's also a spare set of keys.
ACA has estimated it at £6-8k.
