One of just 258 MG RV8s finished in Oxford Blue with a cream interior and only 1400 miles from new is to be sold via auction on 19 June with a guide price of £30-35k.
The Japanese import returned to the UK in 2015 but has had just three private owners from new, hence the mileage.
H&H Classics’ motor car specialist, Paul Cheetham, told CCW: ‘Good examples of the RV8 have been gaining traction in the market over the last few years. With most finished in the handsome Woodcote Green, cars in lower volume colours are proving very popular and often command a premium, so to find one finished in Oxford Blue with the equivalent of fewer than 1500 miles from new is very exciting.’
Said to be in ‘exceptionally original and unrestored condition’ it was given a mechanical overhaul in 2023, with the brakes being refreshed and bushes replaced throughout and it passed its last MoT in September with no advisories.
